E3 2005: the end of the first day (and the only day I’ll be attending). Got there by carpool just after 9am and parking was no trouble. We got into one of the South Hall parking structures. $10 for the day is very cheap downtown parking between 4! Badge pickup…

…and I have my badge. I see that the registration completion & what I assume is lanyard pickup starts at 8, so I think I’ll be turning up early this year (even though the show doesn’t start until 10 on the first day). Last year I turned up at 10…

Last night I went down to Fry’s in Fountain Valley for the local launch and signing event. Here are some photos (sorry about the quality). A great time was had by all. Really cool to see all the fans and feel the energy of the occasion!
