Mrs. Elbeno has fixed holes in two of my favourite jumpers. Jumpers which were cruelly struck down at a young age, finding themselves on the wrong end of an argument with the in-laws' washing machine agitator (agitator? I prefer my household appliances to be apolitical).
Pure cotton. Made in Italy. Surely the pinnacle of jumper society. And now back at the number 1 spot on my jumper hit-parade.
