Saw Batman Begins on Sunday at the local cinema. For free! My brother-in-law got a cineme gift card from his workplace – worth $100 – but they don't have any cinemas of the right chain near them. So they sent it to us 🙂 Just in time for the Summer blockbusters. Batman Begins was really good; now I'm looking forward to seeing The Fantastic Four and War of the Worlds, even though I'm still sad that it's not set in Surrey. I would have enjoyed seeing the M25 destroyed.
The bird life near us has been more lively lately. The local sparrow population long since discovered the feeder and visit it regularly now (including every evening at 6.20pm for some reason). We still haven't yet seen a hummer actually feeding, but have seen a few hovering around and looking.
Wimbledon started today, of course, which means I'm watching more TV than usual for the next two weeks. Let's hope the weather stays fine in Wimbledon.
