I&#8217;ll probably get it early next week. So for the moment I&#8217;m holding back on the precise positioning of the monitor shelf. Today I did some staining with <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Danish_Oil\">Danish Oil<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/88319047@N00\/1779748452\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2389\/1779748452_9dde9db570.jpg\" alt=\"Staining one side\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although Danish Oil is a complete finishing solution, I&#8217;m going to varnish on top because it will better disguise splintery parts, I think it will be harder-wearing, and it will be a better finish for applying decals, should I want to.<\/p>\n<p>For the keyboard tray height problem, I&#8217;m going to fit the new ultra-slim apple keyboard.
