Description
Okay, there are two groups of people who will be looking at EverQuest: Shadows of Luclin, this upgrade to EverQuest: those who already have the original game and those who are thinking of buying EverQuest for the first time and going for the expansion at the same time.
First of all, if you've got the original game (and possibly the other two previous expansions), there isn't a single reason not to buy this. The new graphics engine is simply superb; the new textures are a great improvement over the old ones and seeing things like every detail on a piece of armour makes for a much more involving gaming experience (you even get to see inside the rib-cage of the skeletons as you chop them to shreds).
The new area and characters give even more depth to an already massive game. Exploring the new locations proves that Verant and Sony have managed to create a set of graphics, sounds and creatures which have formed another unique environment to explore.
If you don't already have EverQuest and decide to buy it, it's probably best to get this addition as well. If you don't, you'll be missing out on a lot. --Andi Flower
