Good things today:

England through to the second round of Euro 2004.
Wimbledon started. Henman through to 2nd round.
Holiday over – back at home.

Bad things today:

Not feeling well. Tonsils swollen. Too many flights lately, cooped up in noxious breathings and recirculatings.
Holiday over – back at work.

Also, I am missing rain. It hasn't rained here since the beginning of March. Not that rain in Los Angeles is good – it tends to come down hard and the whole city goes mental and starts crashing cars. I miss the drizzly mornings of March and the rain-before-7, fine-before-11 of England. It didn't even rain on my trips to Montreal and Minneapolis. Well, here's to another 3-4 months without rain.
