January 1st 2008 was our 10th anniversary, so Mrs Elbeno and I dropped the small one off at his friend’s house – where he was parked in front of a Dora the Explorer DVD, happy as a dog with two tails – and headed off for lunch and 90 minutes of together time.
We ate at a nearby Italian place we hadn’t tried before. As with many Italian places around here, the bread was great! I had meat ravioli, and Mrs Elbeno had spaghetti pomodoro. Both very tasty. Dessert was a huge piece of apple pie a la mode for me, and chocolate brownie and ice cream for her.
A nice way to relax and celebrate. I’ll take that over any trinket.
